seven years of pure joy

Today, November 14, seven years ago I picked up Patch from her rescuer - she was a needy dog on death row in a dog pound in South Carolina unknowingly waiting for me here in Louisville. Since I do not know her birthday this is her celebrated birthday. Patch has brought me nothing short of joy with her sweet and loving disposition. And, as a WAGS therapy dog, she has brought many people comfort these last 5 years with her magnetic personality - in 2006 she won Therapy Dog of the Year - Honoree and in May 2009 passed her CGC exam. In short, she really is my heart - rescue is a wonderful thing.
