| There had got to be a special place in hell reserved for people like this.
Anyone else surprised by the fact that the dogs were all of the sort that normally intimidate most people if nothing else by their sheer size, not to mention the other three were a pitbull, rottie and chow mix, all breeds/mixes that tend to serve as a very effective deterent to most burglars, who tend to go for easy targets. It's almost like these houses were chosen for the challenge. Some kind of stupid "initiation"? Gang related? Obviously the OES was not a serious threat, more likely killed for the thrill of it. After the sadists make their entrance to hell I hope space is reserved for the lousy parents that raised these wastes of human space as well.

| I cannot even read it.
I tend to not post negative things about living here. But about 2 months ago there was a thread on the board for this town about a woman who woke up with a man standing over her and her husband. Knocked her husband out and beat the crap out of her. about a week later i was at the post picking up my mail and looked at what i thought was a woman recovering from a plastic surgery ( a lot of women come here for it as it is very cheap and world class plastic surgeons here). Listening to her talk to someone else i found out it was the woman from on the list, she was black and blue horribly. The workman had taken a key, made a copy and sat and ate a sandwich in the garage until they went to bed, then let their dog OUT the door, and went in the house. There have been quite a few roberies on the other side of town, with them letting the dogs out........ I don't give keys to ANYONE here and am very thankful for the 3 story walls in this neighborhood. I cannot wait to move to my new house in 2 weeks as it is a much better neighborhood. |

I don't know if you guys remember but when those guys broke into my parents house Walter was there, undoubtedly barking his head off at them. They came in anyway and hit/kicked/did something to him in the face (he had a scratch next to his eye) Big barking dogs are unfortunately not always security. So so sad. |
| Nothing surprises me anymore. Hopefully when these sub-humans are apprehended they get a taste of what being defenseless, terrified and tortured is really like. Perhaps a long stretch in the general population of a very large violent prison with the guards looking the other way? We can only hope. |

| That is the most disturbing news story I think I have ever read. How do you kill a 3 legged sheepie that brings you a toy? I hope they find these poor excuses for human beings, and they are put through the same hell the owner and Linus went through. |
| That makes me so angry! My heart goes out to Linus and his family. I hope the police will catch these sadistic monsters quickly. Shooting and killing a beautiful innocent animal is beyond human. I just hope that poor Linus was not tortured. I am just sick over this. |

Shooting is too good for for them...but I would be hunting hell and earth for them. I'm for prison where everyone knows they killed poor innocent dogs ( hey, even criminals have a code of ethics ). And they have a huge weight lifting cell mate named " Sally "  |

| Dear god, when does it stop - when this jerk is caught he should also be charged with animal cruelty AND share a cell with, like another poster said, a man named Sally. It absolutely pains me to read things like this, the cruelty to defenseless animals is just plain senseless. He could have gone through that house and left the sheepdog alone. |
| I can't even read this account. Linus owner is right, they are monsters, every last one of them. They break in to take what is not thiers because they feel that we "owe" them something... and kill a precious dog in the act... Monsters is to kind a term. |
Sad to say the monsters outnumber us  I hope for swift and certain justice for Linus. |
