1. Should I be concerned? 2. What should I use that WORKS that keeps ticks off??? I did clean where it was and b/c she was itching it I put hydrocortizone cream on it..... |

If all parts came out, the swelling remaining will go away. Probably more slowly, but will go away. If you are sure you can keep the hydrocort out of her eyes, it would be fine.
There is no 100% perfect tick product. Some are going to get thru the barrier....often they have to attach and sip before they are killed. I've found dead ones already attached or caught in the fur. To get 100% perfect you'd have to dose the dog to a point their health would be in question. I hate ticks too, but deal with them-hopefully unemotionally. I'm still using Frontline and am very pleased with the results. susan |
We use Frontline as well, and the only ticks I've found on Oscar are laying on top of his fur, curled in the fetal position.
The only good tick is a DEAD tick! Laurie and Oscar |
thank you ! I will keep the cortizone on and I will pick up some Frontline tonight! |
I agree-we are a Frontline Plus family.
We had an allergic reaction to the Advantex, so I'm basing my opinion on that over the effectiveness of the product. |
