I had the Andis ones that clip on and they kept falling of all the time. The sanp on was terrific and stayed put until I was done. |

I just use different size blades. I can never even get a comb on. |
Drs. Foster and Smith has some spring loaded combs...
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/p ... pcatid=863 I comb the dog out and then go against the grain when using #10 blade with a snap on comb. I lift the hair I'm cutting with my free hand. I then go over the area already cut to even it up. I can't seem to get a comb to work any other way. |
I bought some but never use them - wonder where they are? |
I use generic snap on combs that my dog supplies place sells.
I use a #10 blade with them as well but always go with the grain. I find if I dont go with the grain they're more likely to come off and/or tangle in the coat and then the dog is not happy with me. |
i use the andis clipper blade attachments, not tried the laube ones. but you can get them from here
http://www.technogroom.co.uk/catalog/in ... lade-combs i have never had any come off, i use them with a 15 blade and get a nice finish |
Combs suck and are generally useless for our breed IMO. I just use whatever blade, usually just a #10 blade. |
