The other reason I decided to take the plunge right now is because we're battling fleas around here. Yuck! I've been feeling absolutely TERRIBLE about it (I'm a bad mom). But...reading through the posts here have made me feel a little better (I'm not the ONLY one who's had to struggle with fleas). I'm hoping his new short hair do will help us control these darn things. Thanks again to all of you who post such wonderful advice on this forum! You all are my first resource when it comes to dog issues! Chanda |

Yay! Take some pics to remember this grooming (and to share with us too!) and be sure to oil and store your blade(s) properly so they'll be nice and clean and sharp for the next time!
Clipper blade maintenance tutorial Don't feel bad about the fleas. Break the cycle! How to get rid of fleas |
yes, the clippers are serious money up front, but they are quickly paid off.
Don't worry about your grooming......it all grows back. Plus the clippers will be handy if you need to do a little cleaning in the rear.....ahem. If you aren't up with the brushing, the clippers are handy to shortening the rubbing zones that mat so quickly. Remember, keep the blade clean! |
Ron - I read your post on stopping the flea cycle earlier today...I have Program on the way! I am so sick of the darn things making my fur-babies itchy. Hopefully we can get rid of them soon. Our next-door neighbors have pigeons (as pets) in a coop very near our fence. I am fairly sure this is the reason for our flea problem. Bummer. I just hope I can keep them out of my house (and off of my dogs) from here on out! |
