Has anyone tried the easy way with dinner or biscuit roll? Seems as it would not be the same. I think from scratch is better but will try the easy way if someone gives it a OK. |

I have a wonderful one I use, but I don't think I'll have time to post it until Monday. If you don't get anything you want to try by then, I'll post it! It's easy but from scratch. Monkey bread is soo good (but nothing beats a homemade cinnamon roll). |

Homemade is always better because you are starting with a sweet dough, not a bread dough as you do with canned or even frozen biscuits. hmmm, could you take a couple of tubes of cinnamon rolls, cut them up, roll them, etc ? expensive but quick.
Still, you can use the Grands recipe or buy the frozen bread roll DOUGH and quarter them, roll in butter and cinnamon sugar........ |
I've looked and looked and I have such a mess right now in my cabinet that I just can't find it. I usually am more organized but I've made so many things this past year that I've kinda let everything get uncategorized! If I run across it, I'll post it, but sheepieboss pretty much nailed it. They're all relatively the same. I love that you just pull it apart to eat instead of having to worry about cutting it! |
