furniture) OES? Chester loves TV. When a dog show is on or dogs on Animal Planet he barks like crazy. When the news is on he sits there watching the commentator like any normal dog? would? I thought sheepdogs did not particularly have that good eyesight. This is not a big TV. He only barks at dogs. How can this BE? I like to watch Emergency Vet. even if he's asleep he wakes up and starts barking like crazy. These TV dogs have no smell. What's he going bananas for? Chett |

That's so funny!
Our dog never, ever watched TV. When we tried to get him to look at something on the set, he wouldn't even bother. I remember a comedian saying he tried to get his dog to watch TV by pushing the head towards the set, and the dog is just thinking... "Why the heck is he pushing my head, what's that I smell on his hands... gotta look at those hands.." We think that he kinda watched once or twice... just was slightly interested in the activity on the screen, but lost interest in a matter of 30 seconds or less. Each one has their own personality...! My dog used to sing happy birthday to people... only song that he would "sing" along to by howling. Funniest thing. We miss him alot whenever anyone has a birthday! (They do, too.) |
Max absolutly LOVES to watch TV too. He watches dog shows, and when certain breeds of dogs come on he always gets so close to the TV his nose is touching. And if I can't get him to settle down, all I have to do is put in the movie Snow Dogs, he will lay there quietly and watch it until it is over, then start whining. |
Woof chases things moving on the screen sometimes...
You should have seen his reaction whilst Crufts week was on... |
Bunker loves to watch TV, I think it might be because I have always left it on whenever I have to leave her. If she sees an animal on the screen she goes right up to the TV. (I have dog snot on the screen everyday). |
