On Friday we left to go up near the Dells to spend a weekend with a car club we belong to and we dropped the dogs at a kennel near there. We had a good(but COLD) weekend. This morning DH picked up the dogs while I got ready to go and he noticed that something smelled like poop. He even pulled over and checked to see if one of the dogs had pooped in the car. When he came back to the motel, I was walking two very excited to see us dogs around and since I was behind them I noticed the poopy butts. Both of them. They have spent time at kennels before and have not had a problem with them but this was a different one and it must have stressed them out. The ended up with diarea(sp...how the heck do you spell that word? I even checked spell check and couldn't come up with it). We stopped at Ski-hi(a fruit farm) for a little while and dh went in and I walked the dogs around while waiting and lo and behold....we met maxnimmer(hope I spelled that one right). Some folks came up and asked to pet the dogs and they had a sheepdog at home too. Dh pulled out a card for here to give to them and they said they were already members They loved the sheepie kisses and didn't even mind the poopy butts! It was nice meeting you guys!!!! |
