His bum is bruised and sore and I was wondering if anyone had used Arnica for their dogs? I know it reduces bruising in humans and I wondered if it would have the same effect on dogs? |

I've never used it on a dog but I used it on my horse a few years ago when he injured a tendon in his leg. I gave it to him (drops on a sugar cube) immediately after the accident and the vet then gave me an ointment that had arnica in it. I can't say if it did any good, but it didn't hurt. |
As always, ask a vet about use in your own dog.
Arnica Montana 30c http://abchomeopathy.com/r.php/Arn Homeopathic version... it says "homeopathic medicine" on the pellet dispenser. The plant is poisonous. We used the homeopathic pellets short term for Darby... 2-3 days was advised to aid in wound healing (mouth problem). 1-2 pellets mixed with a little bit of water... I had to crush the pellets with a spoon first. Quote: I can't say if it did any good, but it didn't hurt.
