The Biggest Loser Season 8
Here's a fun game to make her slightly more tolerable, if you watch when she's making her little speeches about being a "good wife" and "good mother" etc. watch the faces of the other contestants. For some reason I'm not really drawn to this group like I was to previous groups. In terms of the contestants, off the top of my head I only like the firefighter,Daniel, Shay and Rudy. I wonder if they changed who does the contestant selection because overall the cast seems less genuine and kind of self-centered and petty. 
The kind of cast you'd expect from a trashy reality show that exploits heavier people for entertainment purposes  That's what I was expecting when I first heard of the show but I was pleasantly surprised with how they handled everything up to now.
That being said, I do think they've done a good job of keeping the show reasonably fresh with this season's little twists and turns. |

| I hate Tracey. I was stunned that Liz did an about-face and didn't vote for her. She (Tracey) seems SO insincere - "I've been working my butt off!" Yeah? For how long, compared to everyone else?
I like Shay, but she really does need to get off her pity pedestal too. Yes, she's had a rough life and yes, she really needs to be there - but enough is enough. You're there to fix your life - so fix it a bit more quietly, please! And Dina - give me a break! You CAN'T jump on that platform? Are you kidding me? I have had 3 back surgeries and have weak ankles, but even I could do it!! Geesh! |
| AND! Amanda...Seriously, no one but her cares that "She was America's choice" She says it at least once an episode and I bet no one even remembers who she beat to get on the show. I bet the producers had two girls who fit the same stereotype they were going for, so they turned it into a contest to kill some time on the finale. |
You are so right Chris about Dina and Shay. I agree about Amanda too but I wonder how much the producers keep telling her to say that. One of my favorites is the gal who lost her family..... can't remember her name. She was the only one who didn't play the wheel game for the golden ticket. Those idiots who kept Tracy totally deserve what she dishes out to them in the future. |
