2009 oes.org holiday card list time!!
Anyway, I'm willing to coordinate the list again this year, if everyone wants to do it again. I will send an email out to last year's list, for starters. If anyone who wasn't on last year's list wants to be included this year, please PM me with the following info: - Full name and mailing address - Email address (to receive the list - no one will see your email address) - Pet(s) names - Can you open a Word document? If you were on last year's list and don't receive an email from me, please PM me with any changes that may have occurred. Since I'm starting this late, I'll issue it a bit later too - will shoot for a mid-November issue date. Deck the halls with bows on sheepies, fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!! |

I was wondering when this thread would be started!!! I'm so sad that I think we're going to back out this year due to a lack of time to prepare a card this year. I can't wait to see people post their pics though. 
Just to save some time b/c you know this is coming for newbies... usually we take a christmas pic of our dog or even a pic without the dog then upload it on a postcard of ANY type using places like sams, walmart, snapfish, shutterfly, where ever you can find the cheapest place that works for you. I'm sure some of our members can post pics of all the cards we got and how they decorated their house with them. Then after you have sent out all your cards and people have got them (so the surprise isn't ruined for those getting the card) ...people generally post the holiday pic they sent out so those who didn't participate can see.

I am in! Thanks for doing this Chris. Even when money is tight I like to do this because it really adds cheer to the holiday. Both going out to the mailbox everyday in anticipation and looking at all of the beautiful sheepdogs hanging up in the house. |

| Your card does not have to have a pic of your doggie on it. I don't have a sheepie! So I send out regular Christmas cards and nobody's complained. It's so much fun to get happy mail! |

| Were in this year! Last year I did a lot of hand work on the card with some color and bows and such. This year I won't have the time so I will keep it simple, but we love getting all the sheepie cards each year and my mom really loves it.
PS - mom loved all the get well cards she received, thank you for all the cards and all the good thoughts. Keep your fingers crossed and keep us in your thoughts a bit longer... we have another court date coming up in mid November... I would like this one to go my way, since none of the others have... also, cross your fingers, I'm still looking for an attorney and need all the help I can get. L |

Then I just have to sign them (mine would be the one with the unreadable name ) and off they go. I never remember to take the pictures early enough for the cards Jo mentioned . Sign up, it's lots of fun. |

I get so excited every year about the card exchange  It's really worth doing, even on a tight budget. There is something so special about seeing everyone's pictures and having something tangible from all our sheepie friends

Trust me, I KNOW!! I've been going back and forth since JUNE (I don't plan too far ahead and stress about stupid stuff ).
I just want to do a nice picture, and don't have the time to put one together this year and get them printed in time. It's bumming mr. j out, but I told him we'd get back on board next year. We're just so busy now. I just took on a crossfit class that meets at 5 a.m. a few times a week, and I'm already thinking I'll pass out on my drive there b/c I'm so tired. |

I was planning on mailing them late, when we returned from Florida, after the holidays-- and didn't. Then-- I thought, Hey, Christmas in July. So, I was going to mail them as a suprise to all of you in July. And didn't.
Maybe this year, we can get our act together.... |

| I found my cards tonight! I wasn't planning on it. I already had extras I had purchased last year & was going to use them. But these were jumping right out at me from the end cap! If I had gone looking for them I'd never have found any like them & sooooooooooooooo reasonable! Every once in a while I am in the right place at the right time |

I added myself for the first time to the list this year. (I usually have just coerced Chris to give me the list, so I didn't have the pressure in case I didn't get our cards designed in time.) 
I just want to say right out of the gate that we won't be able to top the Bus Bus card this year. But we still have some floating around, so if anyone wants one, please PM me. |
