| I wouldn't think that is the case since vets use it for
lubrication... Also around incision sites to try to keep water away from it where they could easily lick it. Just my thoughts..... Thanks |

| Vaseline is also called white petroleum jelly and you can also get yellow petroleum jelly and brown (I think). The yellow petroleum jelly is toxic as it is still contaminated with minerals etc.
White petroleum jelly has been purified of the toxins. I dont know if that makes it ok to eat it by the tub full though. |
| Well, don't take it as the definitive word on the subject, but Sybil is 48 hours out from eating her tub of white (I guess, since she isn't dead) vaseline and absolutely no obvious ill effects so far beyond the greasy bum described in the grooming section. I shall update Ms Jiffy Lube's adventures in degreasing there, and the effect on her agility runs in the advanced behaviors section.
That said, just because she's still kicking I wouldn't recommend the stuff as a snack. Besides, I'm not sure if she's a good test subject as she has the stomach of a goat. 
DNA testing may be in her future
