Mini picnic?
Later, as we continued our adventure, we wound up at Ashland State park, and as we're pulling into the park, I spy a sheepie! Then another! Then Joan says: "I see FOUR!" There a woman was walking 4 sheepdogs; 2 adults, a 5 month puppy, and a 10 month puppy, all well behaved, and all off leash. I jump out of the car and introduce myself and Mulligan, and she introduces herself. Now I was on the road when Joan picked up Mulligan, so I never met the woman who took him in for safekeeping, but this turns out to be her! She is Kathleen from Cranberry Hill Kennels! Joanine had gone to her kennel to pick Mulligan up when we were just going to provide foster care for him. So we chatted for a bit and of course I invited her to join the forum  and the dogs got to see each other. Her sheepies were very nicely groomed, although I can't say the same for Mulligan  . Her dogs were very well behaved, although I can't say the same for Mulligan .
That was fun having 5 sheepdogs around, even if "Mully" wasn't on his best behavior. It was almost like a mini-picnic! <Mulligan says: "Oh yeah? Well where is all of the dropped food?"> |

| That is too cool! You must have done a double, triple, quadruple take to make sure your eyes weren't deceiving you! How awesome to have all that sheepie power in one spot!!!! |
| That sounds like so much fun!
One of these days I hope to get together with all the people who have siblings of my girls and let them play. I hope to get lots of pictures too, but who knows if we'll be able to get any to stay still! LOL |
How cool is that???  It's always great to meet other sheepies, but when you meet one that has a past with your own dog - it's a double blessing! Great story!
