Let's get organized NY!!
What I am proposing is the first Saturday in November everyone who is interested in getting an OES breed club up and running in NY meet (inside or out - depending on the weather) sans dogs and iron out what we need to do to start a bred club focusing on both breed and performance activities. We will need people interested in all aspects from social events, performance events etc to make this work. If nothing else we can pick a restaurant to meet at - unless someone has some better idea. I think, since the former Capital District OES club gave me the idea we should aim at meeting in the Albany/Schenectady/Troy area. You can respond to this note with suggestions, but pm me with contact info - especially email and any areas you are particularly interested in focusing on. |

Can you move downstate a bit?  I am on Long Island and would love to see a chapter of the OES club here...or create our own mini club. |

No time like the present to get organized. Nationals will be in ROchester next year and you can probably get involved with a booth or helping somehow. And personally having lived in Columbia County and now Greene County for a combined thirty some years I must say it looks like you all are determined to move Long Island up here! (btw I am from Staten Island - enough said  ) |
