Morgan does the same thing. funny in the cold weatehr - just gross in hot weather |
My first sheepie used to steal the remote and bury it under the couch pillows |
No hiding OES - but my son's min pin, Dino always hid food.
He hid things outside in the flower beds, and even in the house. He used to get on the coffee tables and steal candy from the candy dish and hide it all over the house. |
Asterisk did that, pre-Wendel. It was particularly challenging when we were getting her ready for her spay. She needed to be fasted 12 hours and that little sh-- kept going outside and was bringing in treats and pig ears that she had buried who knows how long ago.
Now that Wendel is in the house days of buring treats are in the past. Asterisk feels she has to eat every little bit, just so he can't get it! On a side note, when we got Wendel he was using some bowls we kept on the floor. He likes to "bury" his food, by rubbing non-existent dirt with his nose onto his food. He used to fling that bowl so hard, it would skid across the kitchen floor for a good six feet. We have since raised his food bowl and water... he still continues to 'bury' it with his nose. |
My peppa should of been a archeologist is her past life, amazing the ancient bones that would re-surface with her months later. Then she would proudly bring them to me to show me of her ancient discoveries. |
Harry buries his bones........Milk Bones. He can never find them again ......... .........do you think they got wet and turned to mush Silly boy. |
We constantly find bones and treats under Bob's pillows, my side of the bed and under the sofa cushions. He will empty his toy basket and pick a bone and pace the house...time......after.....time , looking for just the right spot.
If we tell him " we know where you hid it ", he will go get it and hide it somewhere else |

You gotta give him his privacy since he's forced to live inside and not have access to a pasture or forest to bury his treats. He'll end up neurotic if you aren't careful......... |
