first days at my new job

yesterday I started my new job at the council and I'm absolutley shattered! We got to learn all the law, loads of numbers etc. etc and we got to make an exam in 3 weeks and we cant fail otherwise we wouldnt be taken over. But we've been told that nobody ever failed and that they would assure us they will teach us that we finish with success!

I'm going to bed every day at 9pm cause I'm soo tired and got to go up at 5am as I got to walk Charlie and feed her before I go to work!

But I'm glad I started as I know I get paid end of the month and I already met lovely new people I'm getting on with! Still exited though! xx :D :D :cheer: :cheer:

First day is always bad. Each day you build on what you have learned, plus sounds like they want everyone to pass so will do everything they can to everyone through. At first overwhelming, but exciting. Approach with enthusiasm and you'll get through.
First days (and sometimes the first week) are always nerve wracking because everything is so new. But you'll get used to it and learn everything and you will pass the test. Is this the parking meter job?
Learning something new is always work. But, it is knowledge, and never to be taken from you, so always worthwhile!

Good luck and best wishes. :D

..yes it's the parking meter job, we got to learn all the paragraphs and everyone in school gets already nervous!! LOL  :D But I think we're getting better now! just very very tired as the teacher talks all day and he moves on very quick, so we need a very quick mind too!
It sounds positive....met new people, pay day soon, and sounds like they want everyone to pass.

New jobs take awhile to settle in with new routines.
you will be fine, just getting into a routine and dont over tax yourself. as long as you eat and sleep and have some fun leave everything else. Glad you seem more positive xx
Well done Monika!! Keep going!! :ghug:
I reckon youll make a terrific traffic warden good luck
Hi Ellie,

Congrats on your new job! Don't worry the first couple days is always stressful and mind boggling at any new job. I am confident in a matter of days you'll be fine. Sending positive vibes your way.
