Flash Forward
I think that 5'8 guy is Charlie from LOST since he's suppose to be in the show, but I haven't seen him yet. At least I hope. I also wonder if the show is following real-time. That would make April 29th kind of crazy for those who follow!! My prediction (and I'm always wrong) is that they have another flash forward on that day. |

| I watched the first episode but still have the 2nd on DVR. I'm not sure about it. DH is watching it today, so I told him to let me know if he thinks I'll like it.
And yeah, Charlie is in it. I believe he was in teh back seat of someone's car in the first episode... |
| I'm liking it so far. The book that the series is based on has the flash forward occurring 21 years in the future so this should be interesting to see what they're doing around the 6 month mark for the show. |

i have to admit that I had a hard time getting into it the first episode. It was the last 10 min. that brought me in. Plus, I'm trying to remain hopeful since LOST will end before i know it. |
| No, I actually have the book sitting at home in a pile with a bunch of other borrowed books but I haven't read more than a few pages yet. The guy in the office next to me read it and we had a big discussion about it and he gave me the book. I didn't want him to tell me the end either although I guess I'll find out when I read it before the show is over. They'll have to do something different if the show lasts though so it probably won't be the same anyway. |
| What annoys me a little about this show is the repetition of memories or flashbacks. With LOST, you were forced to remember everything yourself, and if you couldn't recall a character ...well you were screwed and had to use google. I actually liked that but this reminds me of Days of our Lives (yes I'm guilty and used to watch). If they talk about anything in the past, they waste airtime repeating that scene again and again.
The rest of the episode was good. It seemed predictable, to me, that this guy with the child in the hospital was a bad guy. I like Penny's character. She plays her role well. I know I need to learn names! Wonder if the babysitter has the hots for the father. Them eating together in the very last scene seemed weird to me, but I don't know if she's under 18 or not. |

| I'm not a fan at all of the little side plot of the fbi agent not being out of the closet, etc. It just seems completely forced and unnecessary.
And what was up with the music during the fight scene the last 5 minutes? Seemed to come out of nowhere. And how did those 4(??) guys all survive w/o getting shot? Seems weird. I tend to stay committed to things, so I'll watch this season, but there is a lot to be desired here..... |

| so.....having the woman be the mole seems WAY too easy. Do you think she's lying to Charlie (I still don't know his name on this show! DH and I always call him Charlie, just like I call the doctor wife Penny--of Juliet on V)... to try and get him to confess stuff to her? And do you think Demitri sperminated her? |
| I just watched the whole season in two days. The hard drive on our DVR failed and I had lost all my recorded episodes so I had to finally buckle down and watch them on my computer. I loved watching them like that. I don't know how I'll go back to watching week to week now! I really hope the lesbian is playing Charlie (it's easier to just call him that). She seems to be able to anticipate his moves pretty well so it would make sense for her to try to appeal to him that way. They were spending so much time together, I was really hoping that he would be the one to "donate" to her. |
| Unfortunately it almost seems destined for cancellation since it lost a lot of its audience during season 1 (being extremely crappy from everything I've read) and the good reviews of "V." Wish I would have continued to record it. Hope they have a plan in place to resolve things this season when the axe falls. |
| I'm not surprised about Flash Forward getting the Axe. To be honest, I couldn't see the sustainability factor on a show that is based souly on obsessing about a six month flash forward and the cause. I mean, would every season be another flash? I'm kind of losing interest myself. |

They had a great 1st half of a season, took the winter off and came back in the spring. The viewers never came back. The Jericho die-hards got an abbrieviated second season, but that was it. Jericho was one of my favorite TV shows of all time, but CBS just totally bungled the show. |
| Yeah, I don't see how they can sustain the show unless they keep doing more flash forwards, which seems like after one more it would get really old. It seems like it should be more of an elaborate tv mini series. Same with V. Although I like Flash Forward better than V. V has HORRIBLE acting. |
| The original V was a mini-series. It was actually 2 mini-series. Then they turned it into a weekly show and it went to hell. I'm still enjoying Flash Forward. |
