Tonks and Luna being mischievous
So this morning I'm snuggled on the couch in my pajamas. Tea with honey and lemon by my side, with my brain slightly addled by codeine laced cough syrup, when I hear Tonks and Luna barking like crazy from the back yard. I go to check on them, and my new neighbor is scolding them from her deck. I look down, and Tonks has dug up two of my three newly planted blueberry bushes, while Luna is contentedly crunching on the bamboo stakes that were accompanying each bush for support! The neighbor immediately apologized, saying she'd never scold another person's dog, but she'd seen me working so hard on the garden, that she couldn't let them get away with the damage they were doing. I thanked her for intervening. My guys aren't usually destructive, and explained that it was due to boredom, what with my being sick for over a week with the flu. The next bit had me laughing, though. My neighbor said she was so shocked; when she told my dogs to stop digging, they did. She said I had very obedient dogs.  I don't know if they were obedient so much as surprised at being caught red handed! |

Souns like they were raised like my human kids - any "mom voice" with authority stopped them in their tracks!
