Good Day!

My very best friend is up visiting me this weekend from Florida. My husband went to pay golf today and she and I went out to do "girl stuff". In our wanderings I said to her would she mind if we stopped to get dog and cat food. She said no problem. I stopped at a Petco that I normally don't go to, but it was near where we were. We walked into the store and Cat Assistance was having an adoption event. In the very first cage was a beautiful Siamese cat. My girlfriend is a sucker for Siamese, so I pointed him out to her. Her cat had crossed the rainbow bridge about six months ago. To make a long story short. She fell in love with him. His story was he had been abandoned in a cat carrier on the hood of a car at a vets. The vet took him in, neutered, wormed and gave him all his shots and then asked Cat Assistance to help place him.
He is one of the most mellow Siamese I have ever met. Walked right out of the cat carrier and introduced himself to my two sheepies. He was completely unimpressed with Oscar and Dudley. He is isolated from my three cats, but he knows they are out there. It is like this cat has lived in my house forever. My girlfriend is thrilled with him and he has really landed in a great home. She can't wait to get him home to Florida on Monday. I feel great that this guy landed such a good home. Just had to share!
