Windfield Daydream Believer 6/7/97-9/26/09
 . He had been having recurring infections and had been close to death several times in the last few months but always rallied. This time he couldn't and we said our final goodbyes this morning. Benny and I were there with him as he took his last breath, petting him and tellng how much we loved him. When Luke was a little guy he always had a stuffed teddy bear we called baby, he loved it and none of the other dogs could touch it. I had gotten a bunch of them over the years and always saved one, that baby was put in his casket. He was buried next to Beau and Daisy in a beautiful oak casket Benny made for him. Luke was always a boy who wouldn't do anything he didn't want to. he disliked the show ring and figured out pretty fast if he acted like an idiot he wouldn't have to do it. He was also very stubborn, he would pull when he was walked and I remember Benny spending hours one day walking him up and down the sidewalk. He finally stopped but it took forever. RIP Louie, until we see you again you will always be with us   |

Holly, I'm so sorry, I was really hoping when I saw that you posted in this area that it wasn't you starting the post. You guys did everything you could for him. It's so hard but he's out of pain now now. I wish I could've given him one last hug, too.  |

| Holly and all the family so sad to hear of the loss of your special man Luke, know we are thinking of you all, worst thing is to have to make that all important heart wrenching decision for your baby. Dont ever 2nd guess after it is made, RIP darling luke, find youth, bounce and fun again with all those others that have crossed over into the Kingdom of being "Forever Young" again.
May Beau and Daisy be waiting to greet you over the bridge, I am sure they will be and so happy to be reunited with you again.
