BAD NEWS ( Personal)
ATT will only keep the contractors for 2 years. His bss tried everything to keep him but no go. If they hired him there would be benifits. He told them that he would sign off but again no go. He can go back after 6 months and rejoin for 2 years again. Now can we go 6 months without a job on unemployment? going to be VERY hard. Can we take them at their word about going back? They have taken back 3 of the last 3 laid off. This sucks going into the fall and holidays and bigger bills. Oh well been there before and sivived and we will again.!!!!! Just say a prayer for us that he finds something in between or a better job. NO jobs here now!! Hope 6 months goes by fast. AND the bad weather. |

| Sorry to hear your bad news. A lot of us have been there & are still there. And even those of us with jobs don't take our employment for granted anymore. The economy just sucks all the way around. And it is even more frightening when you are in your upper 50's & into your 60's, still want to & need to work for a few more years yet! |
