The Saga is Over....Sam is my car!
So we went in today, with just the receipt - nothing else - and ten minutes later I have the registration, free and clear, in my name. Seven others said no way, and they all work for the same company. He called it in for authorization and the head office gave it immediately, so I am now the official owner of a 74 Roadrunner!!!!!!!!!!! And, since his name is Sam (in honor of a character from Supernatural), and the season five premiere episode is on in twenty minutes, I'm going to go watch and celebrate! After weeks of misery....success. (A few people told us to just keep asking different agents until we got the answer we wanted. I thought they were nuts. Apparently it's the way to go. Everything goes through their computer system so I've no idea whatsoever why one can make it so and others can't. But I don't care. HE'S ALL MINE!) |
