And why is it that telling him repeatedly to stop doing so doesn't stick? I'm setting an alarm for three am tonight, and asking him those questions then. Maybe that will help. For now I'm heading off to work exhausted. Again. Why...oh why? |

Sorry you missed sleep Tracie, but I really thought this was going to be a Hudson story (LOL) |
Oh, I'm sorry.
I actually get upset that I get up so many times w/o my husband noticing, so sometimes out of anger (those nights I've gotten up 5 times which is not an exaggeration and already feel sick)... I'll wake him up to do one of those nightly things I do (ex: boy has a nightmare, dog has to pee, etc). I think he gets spoiled, so an occasional night of misery is sometimes in order. |
At our house it's the opposite - Todd is the one up. At least once, often 2-3 times a night.
I usually never hear him. When I comment that I didn't hear him get up, he always agrees - "yes, you were asleep", or "you never moved" We both worked nights for MANY years and know better than to wake the one up who is lucky enough to be sleeping. |
Dan gave up trying to wake me up becasue he never could. You might try playing possum to ge tthe point across... |
