My thoughts and prayers for your news to be good news. |
My prayers are with you. Having odd test results can be scary, please just try not to worry. I also have RA, but have had no symptoms at all since I cut wheat and gluten from my diet, even to the point that I don't take any Plaquenil anymore. Last year I was unable to get up or down the stairs, now I feel normal! I hope you are feeling better soon |
I've got a hug for you and I've got my fingers crossed for you, too! |
best wishes and a BIG from Chewie and I. |
Hoping this turns out okay for you.......

Went to the Dr on Sept 3 for what I thought would be the end of this. Only the Lab failed to run the crucial blood test the DR needed to make the final diagnosis. So far all tests are normal, even though the White Blood Cell count is so low. They retook the blood in the Dr office, told me to wait in the waiting room, so they could run 1 more test (not the crucial one though), then gave me those results. This test showed improvement, but I need to wait for the crucial test results for some time this week. They will call me and I may/or may not need to go in for the results. Keep thinking of me and I'll keep you informed. |
Well, at least there is some improvement, but so sorry for the lab error. Makes waiting longer, and of course, it's a holiday weekend Keeping good thoughts for you. |
Any update? hope all is better |
Received my results on Friday and am I relieved. No Leukemia, which was the scare. We may never know for sure what caused the White Blood Cells to drop but it looks like they are on their way up now. I see my RA Dr this Tuesday and hopefully she will put me back on my RA medication 'Enbrel' so I can feel better. This has been a rough month, both emotionally and physically. Alot of pain from being off the RA Meds, and doesn't help when the pain medication only numbs the mind, while the body still hurts. I will be seeing the hemotologist again in 3 months for a recheck, and in 6 weeks will have my blood drawn again. I do have to avoid sick people, easier said then done, and avoid getting sick until my count is normal. Thanks for all your kind thoughts. You really helped me make it thru this rough time. |
so glad you're ok!!!!! |
What a relief. Hope you can get back to feeling better.
