Yes it is! I wondered if you were watching again.
Both of my boys have caught up on DVD so we call each other after the episode. |
Oh I just love it! It's so smart!!! |
Yes that is what we always say.
There was a photo shoot and article in the September issue of Vanity Fair. The pictures are great and really capture Don and Betty's relationship. The article is interesting too. Hey Deb, what did you think of last nights episode?
I don't know if you picked up on the date of Roger's daughter's wedding... November 23. That will be the day after Kennedy is shot. It should prove interesting. |

I won't see it until Wednesday, when I treadmill. Hm....that is very interesting about the date. I wonder if I would have picked up on it. The first year...didn' they have a whole thing about Kennedy/Nixon champaigns? |
Yes they covered the whole Kennedy/Nixon election as they were the ad men for the Nixon campaign.
Then there was the Maidenform account in which they did the whole concept of "Are you a Jackie or a Marilyn?" for the campaign. Of course they covered Marilyn's death with how it impacted the characters, etc. |
Watched it yesterday. I don't know if I would have caught the Nov reference. I'm really glad Peggy is "getting some". She is a very strange and lonely character. I really believe the show gets better and better. |

Unfortunately that would make it a hard show to just tune into without knowing the characters' baggage. That is what makes these DVD sets out so soon a good deal for viewers - obviously they are good for the producers - because my kids were able to catch up on a show that they now just love. debcram wrote: I'm really glad Peggy is "getting some". I agree. Peggy is one of my favorite characters on the show so I would like to see her have some satisfaction in her life. Especially since she faces so many chauvanistic obstacles at the agency even though she has saved their advertising butts a couple of times. Don really seems to be struggling with his version of "fidelity". It looks like him and Betty are going to be for some tough times ahead with the baby and her father. That should drive Don into the arms of the closest breathing female. |
