I will try and find it. Thank you - -I would really appreciate it. I tried searching this morning - but I couldn't find anything. |
I had one I posted. It is a recipe I got at an agility seminar
in ST Cloud, Stephanie!!! Very simple: 1 pound beef or chicken liver. Put in a blender and grind up. ADD: 1 Tbsp garlic powder 1 egg 1 pkg Jiffy Corn Muffin mix and blend well. Spread in a jelly roll pan (or 2 cookie sheets with edges) that are covered w/ aluminum foil and sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Cut in squares (about 1 inch) with a pizza cutter. Put in small snack ziplocks and freeze. They are a soft treat, but not crumbly. It's easy to break off small bits to use as little treats for training. One square lasts awhile! We call them liver brownies. |
thank you that's it. My kids loved it. the smell is not all that bad either.
my hubby thought it was brownies....lol |
Thanks! |
Is there something to use in place of the Jiffy corn mix? My dog's allergic to corn...would whole wheat flour work? |

I make ht esame brownie without the jiffy mix. My recipe calls for flour and i have used whole wheat, regular, or buckweat it doesn't seem to matter to the dogs. It is about their favorite winter training treat. |
