This time I thought - why not be a bit civilized - or pretend to be so. Any ideas of decent places to stay with two oversized fluffies near to the Interstate between Richmond VA and Fayettevill NC I guess? |

If there is a Red Roof Inn close by, go for it. I use them almost exclusively when traveling with the dogs. They are very dog friendly and the rooms are plenty big for crates too. Reserve on-line and you get a cheaper rate too. I also ask for a ground floor room if possible due to traveling with "a" dog (even tho' I almost always have more ), in the comment box. A good second choice is Super 8. |
We've used the Embassey Suites when we visit family. The dogs love the elevator with glass of three sides. They know where the restroom area is when we walk outside.
My favorite part is the door closing off the bedroom from the living area - less chance for a an escape by the cats. But check the size limits. the one closest to my mother's house is fine with our dogs, but the one closest to our daughters is new and has a 30 lb weight limit. |
