Finally met another Sheepdog in the area!!!!!
I was so excited to see another one! Her name is Maggie and she's 4 years old. She has a single patch over her eye and is a darker grey than my kids. I was shocked at how much smaller she was than my beasts. She was full coated, but must have been 55lbs. Asterisk looked like a giant by comparison. Asterisk is 70lbs and stands 26 inches at the shoulder. Wendel is 70lbs and real stocky. I tried to engage the owner in conversation, but it turns out that Maggie is owned by his parents. He did say, though, that Maggie goes to the park often. So we're going to try to go again around the same time frame. Aaaahhhhh, so exciting!!!  |

Wow, so cool!!! 
There are no sheepies come to our park, just a few people who used to own sheepies, who all rush up to say hello. A few months ago I passed a sheepie being walked only a suburb away but there was no way I could pull over without causing an accident  so I never found out where they were from.  |
Joan and I also always get a huge thrill seeing another Old English Sheepdog out in the wild!

| This happened to me last week, sadly not in my area, we went down the the coast, Poole harbour, and saw a lovely boy called Willoughby (spelling ?) he was 2 and I was just so excited - I did at one point think it was 'Willoughby's mum' and then thought is she UK/US ? Anyway, I told them all about the forum - hope they log on. |
