Spicing up a Brownie Recipe
* 2 boxes of brownie mix * 8 oz cream cheese * 1 egg * 1/3C sugar * 3T butter * 1T flour Preheat oven according to brown mix directions. Make brownie mix according to box. Grease 9X13 pan OR line w/parchment paper which is what I do since it's 10x easier to get out w/o crumbling. Put first box of brownie mix in pan. Then prepare cream cheese mix. Put in bowl, mix in egg, sugar, butter, flour and use mixer to blend (can use straight out of the fridge...should blend nicely). Then pour dollops all on top of brownie mix. Top with next box of brownie mix! Take knife and swirl together. Bake according to mix instructions. I used the time stated for their smallest pan size so like 50 min. Bake until toothpick comes out clean and cool completely before attempting to cut or you'll have crumbs everywhere. |
