Yikes! 120-130 lbs?? That's one BIG sheepdog!! Is he tall and long, too? I had to chuckle when I read that you grew up with sheepdogs and knew you wanted one for yourself. Of course! And the beat goes on . . .  |

I loved Garcia's tale!!! (BTW I am a Dead fan too) I have two deaf OES that I totally adore!! I also have a foster aussie that is deaf and partially blind. (he only has one eye) I am glad you and Garcia stopped by and I hope to hear many more stories of him!!! |

| Wow! How nice to hear from everyone!
Garcia is a big boy, for sure. He is quite tall, but I have to admit that my vet has suggested on more than one occasion that Garcia *might* be a little on the heavy side. We were doing quite well on our weight loss plan until the blindness set in again and he had to go through a long treatment process that involved prednisone, which caused him to gain weight. That's my excuse, at least! I am just tickled to hear from other Sheepie lovers. There are few dogs I don't love, but there's just something special about a Sheepdog! Maryglenn |
