Itchy Skin

A low thyroid can also cause extreme itchiness, odors and ear infections, among other things. If your vet hasn't already checked for this, a simple blood test is all it takes. Our Lizzie has the combined problem of a low thyroid, plus allergies and is on medication for both.

I have read about something called Willard Water that is supposed to work miracles for itchy skin, hot spots, etc. I have never used it but there is a book by Wendy Vollhard(SP?) that touches on it and I know you can get it on the internet.
