It was fun seeing people playing the flamingo bogging game everyone laughing when people were winning the raffle and yelling WE WON, YAAAYYY!! I think everyone got a kick out of that!! I know I did.....It was a bummer the weather wasn't consistant because I couldn't set up the pawcasso painting. I didn't have anywhere to put the paintings to dry because of it raining on and off (grrrrr ) A huge surprise to see that Donna Couture of NEOESR surprised Arthur and I by flying all the way here from MA. We had no idea she was coming, and she showed up with a giant OES cake (for the humans)!!! Marty with Murphy and Georgie (who everyone fell in love with). Helen and Chuck Tallman with Violet who was ADORABLE! Suzi with Duffy Blue & Dreamer who loved the swimming pool and doing a lil' agility jumping over our 3ft. patio wall...lol Ron, Suzi's company, who came with an absolutely precious Daytona who just wanted to lounge on the cold tile in the house!!! Zoe with her husband Edd, the children and Einstein (and baby Alex was beautiful). So many more people and OES everywhere!!! I don't think the day could have gone any better than it did even though it rained on and off. The dogs had an awesome time and Arthur and I enjoyed every second of the day! Once again, thank you for making yesterday an absolute BLAST!!! We are already planning an OES halloween party this upcoming fall..... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! The birthday girl had an awesome day, and so did we!!! |

Marty and crew had a blast!!!!
I wanna see pics too! |
There were 19 OES present (23 invited), and 42 people that came. We had a few people come after 7pm and stayed for a while. The party lasted until 11pm (but we were getting eaten alive by misquitos even with bug spray on).
I'm glad you had a great time, Suzi! The bartender made some good drinks! Yummy! My favorite was the "best in show" aka blue hawaiian. That was good. I'm just waiting for the photographer to call, then I'll know when I'm getting the photos. I'll be posting pictures soon to the forum~ ok...I need to clean up!! Michelina~ |
I heard there was a table surfer in the crowd |
HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA!!! yes, there was!! It was actually pretty hysterical. She was looking to make sure daddy wasn't in the room and helped herself to some gourmet dog treats. Then enjoyed them on the couch......And yes, although this was the end of the night, my girlfriend managed to get a few photos - I can't wait to see them ..... |
Michaelina and Arthur we had so much fun at Cozette's Birthday Party yesterday. The decorations where so creative, the food was great the drinks where yummy too! Everyone was soooo nice. It was so nice to meet people from the Forum and others as well. I loved meeting all the sheepies. Such a beautiful flock they where...all with such sweet personalities.
1. Chuck won so many things at the raffle that he was embarrassed. 2. I was lucky enough to meet Zoe and her family and got to hold new born Alexander Robert. (I had a hard time giving him back. ) He is so adorable as well as Isaac a really sweet boy. 3. Violet, with sheepie determination, tried to go in the house as often as anyone would go through the door. 4. Yes, it rained, but like true Floridians we just held up the tents until the storm went through and went on with the party. 5. There where gourmet doggy cookies in the kitchen laid out so beautifully. I didn't know they where doggy cookies so I ask my hubby if he had eaten any of those cookies. He hadn't, thank God. lol 6. I did enjoy fishing for Flamingos. All in all it was a great party and I thank you for inviting us!!! I do have pics, just haven't uploaded yet. I will however, probably Tuesday. Getting ready to go to Sea World tomorrow. |

Awwww ....Gosh...I wish we could have attended!!! Great pics...and tiny little baby!!!! too cute!!!! |
Looks great - thanks for the pictures
Didn't anyone tell Marty it's too hot for all that facial hair?? Todd was growing his, but only as an incentive to get his car running.... He is in the midst of restoring his 1963 1/2 Ford galaxy, and they were having one "heck" of a time getting it to run. He vowed not to shave until it ran. He compromised with a goatee the day they got it to run - minus the starter/ignition...LOL It drove him crazy and we don't even have it too hot here this summer. Normally the beard appears only in the winter. |
His is more from staying up too late and rushing out in the morning! He usually keeps it shaved since there is alot of gray poking out! Maybe he was trying to match Murphy Whose is longer |

Todd grew his out last winter, and scared himself with how gray it was I think it was the shortest lived beard he ever has had! |
I uploaded some photos....just waiting for them to show up! Marty was scratching at his face a lil' at night, but I think it was from the killer bugs attacking all of us...LOL Michelina~ |

All of these pictures were sent to me from Donna Couture. These are not from the photographer, to clear some confusion! I'm still waiting on the CD from the photographer! |
Photos included the flamingo bogging game, the raffles, the tents, the doggie play area, and people just hanging out!!!.....Oh yeah, and Cozette having her cake and eating it too!! |
WOW - you did that party in STYLE, girl!!!
That looks like a blast. I love all the pink too - even the raffle tickets. You may have a new career as an event planner |
Thanks!!! I LOVE parties and decorating for them....It was sooo much fun. I wasn't feeling all that great for a few days prior and I was waiting for the tylenol to kick in the morning of the party..... I REALLLLY didn't want to be sick for the party at all..... It's been a week and I'm still laughing and smiling about it....
