* oreo ice cream, softened (must be ...actually mine was very soft since you're re-freezing and i wanted the scooping to be very easy) * 1 oreo pre-made crust * tub of cool whip * package of oreos Smoothe ice cream into crust. Freeze until solid again. Then piped cool whip on top. Then drizzle crushed oreos on top or even melted chocolate. Freeze and can be frozen for 2 months. Set at room temp for 15 min before serving and be sure not to eat all of it yourself!!! |

Wow, my son will love this!! He is my ice cream kid and then oreos on top, what could be better. |
Yeah, I could easily work my way through an entire pie at one sitting. Of course with the Cool Whip in there it's less damaging, right? |
So glad I didn't look at this recipe before going shopping......I finally started losing baby weight again. I may just have to give in and make it anyways! |
Reading recipe, "can be frozen for two months" surely you jest! |
Similar to another one I've made except you mix some ice cream with chocolate pudding and whip cream before putting it into the crust. |
LOL sheepieboss, of the 3 i made, you should see how much is left of the one i just cut in (other 2 ate the other night). Mind you, my kids aren't allowed that sort of sweet dessert (i said it was neighbors kids), so it's been all me while mr. j was at work.
Willowsprite, what kind of ice cream? I made a peanut butter mixture (not ice cream), c.pudding and whip cream pie, but I'd be interested in an ice cream version!!! It's so hot here, I'm liking some cold things!! |
You could use any kind you like, peanut butter and chocolate together are always good.
I think if you want really chocolate go with choc ice cream, whip cream and choc pudding (pre made, instant stuff) A friend of mine makes it with cream cheese too, absolutely awesome, like a frozen cheese cake. I can't remember what it's called.... or exactly what else is in it... now I want some though. |
