Not my favorite pic, but I don't have the same patience lately. 3 or so lbs of pork baby back ribs or 2lbs of country style boneless ...and you can either use your favorite bbq sauce (never use kraft, recipe always turns out like crap) or use the sauce I use for most of my pulled pork or bbq things. 2C ketchup 1C bbq (I use jack daniels) 1C brown sugar 2.5T lemon juice 2t Worcestershire several dashes of hot pepper 3T steak sauce a few cloves garlic, minced oven 400 Season ribs with salt and pepper and put in baking pan (i line with foil). Bake for 15 min. Drain fat. Turn over ribs and bake 15 more min. Place in crockpot with your sauce and set on low for 6hrs. I could only do mine for 4 hrs and they were already falling off the bone, but I also had a smaller portion (2.5lbs). It was near impossible to remove the ribs w/o them falling apart, and I wanted to put back in the oven. (i put a lot more sauce on top of these before putting in the oven) Then the last 30 min, put back in oven with some sauce covering ribs at 375 for 20 min. This will carmelize the sauce onto the ribs, making them PERRRRRRRFECT. |

Thanks for sharing this--it was a hit! |
Was soooooo good. I cheated and used Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce because Ms. Riley wouldn't cooperate, but they were still excellent! The neighbor agrees! First time cooking ribs, and they were awesome! |
YAY!! |
Mrs J another winner. My 13 yr old granddaughter is spending the summer with us and she LOVES BBQ Ribs. So I decided to give your recipe a try. Jenah loved the ribs, so did the rest of us. The recipe was sooo easy and sooo good. I will be making these ribs again.
Thank you for sharing this great recipe with us! |
