Will you all please pray for our son, daughter-in-law and their other two sons, (ages 7 and 9). We're all heart broken. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd see my son having to bury one of his children! It's devastating not being able to do anything to lessen their heartache!!! Please ask the Lord to comfort them. The world goes on as if nothing has happened, but to them it stopped last night. Thank you!!! God bless you all !!!!!! |

I am so sorry..I will pray for all of you. |
Oh my gosh... what devastating news.
I can't imagine the pain involved, and I'm so sorry anyone has to go through this, and wish them all the strength and answers they may receive. I pray God has his arms wrapped tightly around them and you right now, as He has their child right now. |
That is so devastating. I pray that all of your family have the strength to make it through this terrible ordeal. Another angel in Gods garden. I am so sorry I wish there was more I could do to help....xxxx |
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beautiful grandson Isaac (Scooter) into Heaven. Yes, the world will miss this special Spirit, he has put his mark on the world even though our world was blessed with him for only a very short time.

You and your family, and your precious grandson are in our prayers. I'm so sorry for such a devastating loss.
Quote: I’ll lend you a little time, a child of mine, He said. For you to love while he lives, and mourn when he is dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me? He’ll bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief, You’ll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return. But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. I’ve looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true. And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes, I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, Nor hate me when I come to call, or take him back again? I fancied that I heard them say, Dear Lord, Thy will be done. For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we’ll run. We’ll shelter him with tenderness, we’ll love him while we may; And for the happiness we’ve known, will ever grateful stay. But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we planned, We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes. And try to understand. -Edgar Guest |

Thank you for your kind words and prayers! Please continue a few more days. Showing is Wed evening and funeral is Thursday morning.
Me - a loss of words.... I guess its because there really aren't any. I just want to pick them up in my arms, cuddle them, 'kiss it' and make it go away like I could when he was a youngster........ The Lord has to handle this one. That poem is beautiful. I wanted to find something and once again you guys came to my rescue!!! Here's why: "I’ll lend you a little time, a child of mine, He said. For you to love while he lives..." and mourn when he is dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me? Isaac was born with Tars Syndrome, a genetic thing which takes the right couple to get together to produce the gene.... He was born with short arms - little bone from the shoulder with his hands reaching about half the length from shoulder to elbow - the lower arm bones were not there. It also has to do with too few blood platelets. He had to have infusions. If these children live to about 2 years old they usually live a normal live span. He’ll bring his charms to gladden you, Not only was he just a special spirit, he was a blessing to watch. He automatically taught himself how to do things that seemed impossible with his short arms that would amaze you. As an infant, if he lost his bottle he look at it, roll to it, pick it up with his feet and then toss it up in the air catching it between his arms. And he NEVER missed!!! He taught us sooo much!!! But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. He taught us sooo much I can't imagine what he would've needed to learn. I’ve looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true. And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes, I have selected you. Those are almost the exact words we told them when he was born. They had no idea until his birth that there was a problem, even with the pictures they took while she was pregnant! She's a special ed teacher and he's a paramedic/fireman/minister, so they are "teachers true". Now will you give him all your love, .... Dear Lord, Thy will be done. For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we’ll run. ..... We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes. And try to understand. He was loved by all. When he entered a room he became the main attraction. Not because of his short arms, but in spite of it. You couldn't look at him without smiling. And, he had such a big, beautiful smile on his face (most of the time). I know their faith will get them through this, but prayer is a strong tool and I thank you for including them in yours!!!!!! All we ask for is God's perfect will be done. Grandpa and I are having that poem engraved on a beautiful piece of almost black piano wood with gold print and trim. His picture will be above the poem. We're doing that instead of flowers except for the heart shaped pillow I'm still trying to get with "Grandson" on it. I wanted one of those Solar Crosses or Bibles I just heard about but couldn't get it in time. Maybe later. Someone else started a Trust Fund in his name at the bank which I thought was very generous. There are still A LOT of Kind, Generous People left in this world. Its amazing how many you see at a time like this. We'll sure miss the little guy. But, we KNOW where he's at and one day we'll see him again! Again, THANK YOU and God Bless you all. Kiss your kids and grandkids!!! Spouses too!!! |
I am so sorry to hear your terrible news.
