I was really frazzled this morning and I must have forgotten to put the food bag back in the cabinet. Dave just left me an email asking if we are trying a new 'free feeding' approach! I think we are going to have plenty of bathroom breaks tonight... |

Oh no!!! |
My daughter's cat loves food, but especially dog cookies.
When she visits, she loves to dart into the pantry. The extra box of dog cookies is kept there, just for her. She will chew open the box and knock it over. She knows the sound of the dog's cookie jar on the countertop. She can beat the dogs into the kitchen. Don't worry, I know they aren't good for her. She rarely gets any. But she has earned her nickname - Saggy Britches. |
Yep forget to put away the Kibble sooooo tempting, Ma forgets, fair game for a sheepie What not to do in the future, leave a tempting Cooked chook on the bench to cool. Nice to pop out and find NOTHING on the plate when back home after only 10 minutes exiting the house and returning, not any evidence there what so ever that mom had a cooked chook waiting for it to cool down (Take out that night) Now entertaining, "Do not leave 2 kg's of Frozen Minced beef thawing on the bench while exiting the house for a very short time" Too tempting as a dog popsicle with one oinker of a shaggy dog. (Take out that night too ) |

I think it's a chicken, but we'll see........
20 lbs........fortunately the dog didn't bloat! |
That's exactly why I bought a tote to keep all the pets food in. The cats have theirs, the dogs have one also. I had a nasty surprize one day when the cats gorged on their food.
Full, distended bellies and a full litterbox. |
Haha, Lisa I can't even imagine! Where is Ginny to re-tell her story about the walnuts that Tasker ate and the squirrels hid in Dougs car... definitely my favorite story!
He didn't actually eat very much out of the bag, I think it must have been too much effort to get that far in the bag... |
Yeah, that probably won't aid in the weight loss endeavour.
Glad he didn't eat too much! |
LOL. One more tip: don't make the mistake of feeding your fat dog two dinners, like James and I did last night. Chubby Fatso ate his dinner so fast, james thought there was no way I had fed him so it totally blew the diet.
Maybe Clyde and Rudie can be Weight Watcher buddies. |
That's kinda funny |
