| Hello there, Michigander! My family is from Michigan, and up till last June, so was I. I have a sister-in-law that does grooming and she works in Frankenmuth. I believe that she may be aware of trainers, but I don't think they'd be close enough to you.
There is this guy that you may want to look into. I don't recall his name, but he is involved in Pit Bull rescue. He is just amazing too! He is a trainer and I saw him first hand take an unruly dog and have him well mannered in a matter of 10 minutes. Last I recall, now this is about 4 years ago, he offered one on one training and I believe he is in northern Michigan (not the UP, though). I can email my former vet in Michigan and see if she can get me his contact info. |
