This is the yarn that I dyed this spring at a workshop. I think I knit this sweater in record time, about 4 or 5 weeks.. It was fun too. It's a top down pattern and when you are done, you have to just weave in the ends and then sew on the buttons... I'm still looking for the buttons... Loved the pattern so much I started it again, except in cotton blend. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3588/3621202192_000a0d9779_b.jpg I made the stitch markers from some beads that I bought on a trip to visit Jil in Michigan... |

Those are lovely! Good job on your yarn dying too its not easy to get nice rich colors like that! |
Gorgeous. You are very talented.
I took a beginner's class this Spring, just to make sure I was knitting correctly as I am self taught. I have made 20+ scarves for my daughter, a variety of stitches, weights and yarns (several multi-yarn). And a very easy, idiot-proof baby blanket that will probably go to my cats. My new thing is double knitting. I found a very cute purse pattern that I want to make for my daughter. I think I can do it. I am not brave enough to make sweaters. |
Beautiful work. Beautiful yarn. So talented. |
