Here he is just being his adorable self: That toy is awesome. It is on a fishing pole with a strong rope line so I can play with him and watch tv at the same time. It is also great for preventing heel biting as I trail it behind me when I am walking. Remember him slinking past the Rhino when he first arrived? Now look at his confident stride. It is a little blurry because he was moving fast on a succesful journey back from a quick pee in the doggie run: Greeting my friend's little terrier: He's great with other dogs. Yesterday, he had the most amazing play-date with my neighbors' little dogs (a Maltese and a Maltese/Havanese mix). They chased each other around the yard and had a rollicking good time but it was all very tame and puppy-appropriate. He won't be able to play with them for long but this is a good way to tire him out while he is still small enough to play with them. Here he is studying the technique of Boulder's best squirrel hunter: Getting closer to Maggie on the tv-watching couch (which we affectionately call "the cosy"): And, just for good measure, here's one of Maggie in the front yard. She doesn't like being photographed while eating. |

Great pictures.
Please keep the Rhino pictures coming. I expect to see one of him riding the Rhino one day. |
Fantastic, Val! He sure is a cutie pie! I'm so glad everyone's adjusting well. I'm kind of picturing his personality like a little Fozzie.
The rhino pics are very funny |
Such a cute boy |
Oh Henry II.........are you becoming the Lion in Winter? You've already conquered the rhino, what is next?
Is your Maggie really named Eleanor? |
How gorgeous it that boy? The pics are wonderful Val. |
He really is a handsome fellow. I like how he's getting up close to Maggie (who is looking great herself) on the sofa. So sweet.
Weren't you taking some agility classes with Mags? How is that coming along? |

Yes! Maggie graduated from her beginner agility on Monday night. It was so funny to have her in the class with all the 9-14 month old pups. By the end of the class, she was able to complete a 3 item sequence, including doing a u-turn. She's not fast but she's also not fearful and she really loved the mental challenge. She was clearly the darling of the instructors who just loved her attitude. The next series is a drop-in class on Saturday mornings. Unfortunately, it is at the same time as my favorite puppy kindergarten class so I may have to alternate them. |
