Usually no hurry unless growing at an alarming rate. Paige had one on her abdomen that made her tits hang low like she was lactating. Vet said no reason to remove other than it looked bad. We had it removed. Years later I felt it returning.
My guys have some pretty good sized jobs on their chests, against the ribs, etc. I'm not concerned. One of them also has a "tick" on their head, I don't know how many time I've tried to remove it. At least now he'll tell me sooner rather than later, "Hey, that's NOT a tick." |
If it's not growing or in danger of getting ruptured, it should be OK to wait and watch it. Taking a picture may help to compare later. (Doctors suggest this for watching our moles as well.)
I just had one removed from Simon and it was being watched, then grew rapidly. It luckily turned out to be a benign mass. |

No surprise - if iut was me I would go tot eh vet ASAP. But then again I do that so often we don't have well check ups |

We just had one removed from Winston that was also benign. If you take a picture, use a ruler in the picture as a reference. It makes it easier later on to tell if it has changed. |
