KC Good Citizen levels
I think this is my first post in this section of the forum 
Anyway, I wanted to know what you guys thought of the KC Good Citizen scheme. I have attached links to the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels so you can see what is expected in each one. I think each level is a ten week course. Is this the same as your CGC in the States? Do you also have the three levels? Has your sheepie passed all three? I appreciate any input

We take Poppy & Sweetpea to obediance classes (not that you'd know!) and Sweetpea just passed her bronze level. Unfortunately Poppy failed during the one minute 'stay' part of the test as she sat up when I went back to her at the end of the minute which is an automatic fail - harsh in my opinion! We enjoy going and the dogs really seem to know when they're going to 'school'! There isn't a limit to how many lessons they have before a test (in fact they only arrange 3 or 4 tests a year in our area) so we could go for ages without taking a test! Good luck if you decide to go for it. |
| George passed his puppy certificate at 6months but I never got any further than that.
I intended to take him for bronze level but with one thing and another we never got round to it.
I should make the effort and take him back again. |
| Rubbish....Ted did the stuff and passed but didn;t go on coz he was too slow to go on to the next class....'late maturing' was the word. |
