Wish us luck with the e-collar. I think we're both going to need it. She's already knocked some things off the coffee table. Its going to be a long two weeks! |

So glad the vet thinks all went well!
The e collar is a horrible thing! The damage to the walls... ouch. I have heard of a collar that is a big cushion-like cervical collar that goes around the neck and is thick enough to prevent the dog from scratching but doesn't stick way out and have the acoustical problems that the e-collar has. Anyone know anything about it? UPDATE: I found this on the web: http://www.bonafido.com/page6.html http://www.funstufffordogs.com/Qstore/Q ... 1095001958 Here's a site telling how to make an alternative collar: http://joecarr.ca/photogallery/Pets/dog_collar.htm Good luck, and let us know if you try something (regardles of whether it works!) I found a better picture... but still not super soft... http://www.animal-photography.co.uk/New ... rge21.html Another one http://www.jbpropet.com/Shopping/produc ... 696%2D0100 |
Hi Willowsmom,
I'm so sorry to hear about Willow. Eye surgery or ? I'm sorry as I must have missed the post regarding her upcoming surgery. I hope she will feel better in a day or two - You'll probably take longer to recover as you're the mom. Please give her a belly rub for me. Hugs to you as well Marianne and the boys (whom send sloppy kisses Willows way) |
