resurfacing...again!
Ive gotten a few emails recently from various folk at the forum, wondering if I was ever going to show my face around here again....  and it made me realize that I missed you guys! 
The stupid migraines are still a big factor in my life, Im afraid, so I have to be super careful about eyestrain on the computer. Its not as bad as it was...now, instead of daily (relatively mild) headaches, Im down to monthly (or there-abouts) monster headaches requiring hospital visits and GOOD drugs (yay for morphine!!!  ).....sigh......The, sorta, good news is that I think weve got the cause figured out...the bad news is that Ive probably developed a sensitivity to the chemicals in my art supplies  So....no more printmaking for me. Ive spent the past 6 months totally re-inventing my art career from scratch, with non-toxic techniques.
The summer art fair season is in full swing here, and Abby & Bert are having a blast being "booth dogs". Im actually very proud and excited about all my brand new artwork and techniques, so the summer is looking really great  Ill try to get off my butt and take some pics to share here! |

| glad to hear you are getting better. My hubby use to have those yoo. Put him in bed for days and huggung the toilet. It took time to find out what was causeing them.

| Welcome back! You've been missed. I did look at your website recently. Your art is fab. Good luck at the Fairs! Good news your head is doing better...cross fingers the migraines go away for good. My hubby had a similar problems with chemicals they used in the shop, he is now out of that part of the shop and has also stopped drinking Pop (Soda) which, for him, made a huge difference. He was having terrible migraines daily...now he has them rarely. |

| Glad to see you back, and that you are having fewer migraines. Hopefully you've found the cause and can get rid of them entirely!
I think there are screens you can put over your monitor or adjustments you can make to reduce glare/eye strain etc also? |

I was just thinking about you the other day. I can't wait to see your new artwork. We definitely want pics of the "booth babies" Abby and Bert. I hope that your headaches begin to ease now that they have discovered the cause. |
I was wondering about you. Laurel - I was looking at the sheep (LOL) and wondering how you were doing. Hoping the head was treating you better. Migraines bite.

| Glad to see you back Laurel!!!! It is always fun to try new mediums...just enjoy it. There are a lot of things you can use that don't produce the fumes. |
