"Peyton Dog 
Pit Bull Terrier Size: Medium Age: Adult Sex: Female I.D: Notes: Peyton was rescued by a 6 year old boy. Peyton had been living under buildings on the school campus where the boy's father works. The boy talked the dog in to following him across the campus to his father's office by telling her to "believe in yourself". Peyton was starved and obviously ill. Once he reached his father's office, he called his Mom to ask her to pick him up that he had rescued a dog. His Mom was a little suprised when she went to pick him up and found him sitting with his arm around a Pit Bull. Mom scooped them up and took them home. She noticed the dog looked very ill, and told her son that Peyton may need to be put to sleep. The next morning, as the boy was off to school, he asked his Mom to call him at school if Peyton had to be "put to bed". Peyton has survived and is growing stronger every day.
