My friends beloved Jack

Jack was my friends GSD who was hit by a school bus while trying to greet her son getting off the bus. He was this huge lovable dog that would always greet anyone that would come to their house with a deep deep bark a wag and a lick. He was a pillow, a best friend and protector of their children. They live way out in the country near a farm on a long dirt road. We were all shocked and hurt by the loss of Jack. The poor children on the bus that witnessed this and especially thier son. Jack normally didnt run out in the lane but it only takes once. Let that be a sad lesson to us all. I feel so bad for everyone. Poor Jack, he will be greatly missed

I'm so sorry for your friend's loss of Jack. He sounds like he was a wonderful pet and protector. I bet the bus driver feels terrible, too.

Most definately. The bus driver felt awful. My friends took thier son to the farmer that helped them carry Jack back to the house. And there was a surprise from the bus driver. A little puppy GSD. Thats the great thing about living in a small rural area. Everyone cares and helps out.
