I feel very angry about this, and hope people will refuse to watch, because all this will do is feed her sickness, and hunger for publicity. |

I agree!
All it does is encourage 20 more people to take fertility drugs without care, ending in multiple births hoping to use it as a money making scheme and to enjoy some time in the spotlight. I feel the same about Jon & Kate Plus 8. I have never seen the show but I think it is time for them to turn off the cameras and focus on their marriage and how it is impacting their kids. But as long as people keep tuning in their behavior will continue. |

We had sextuplets I think born in a neighboring town and the day after they were born the grandfather was all over the place saying how the parents were going to be on easy street becasue of it. Last I heard I believe the family had some legal issues about how they used the funds donated |
I'm sowrrrry!!! If it's a channel I get, I will have to take a quick peeky!! I know there will be train wrecks, and I have to witness them. Have to, or I'll die. Die I say.
I think it's a great way for her to make "money," but on the otherhand, I think she's opening herself up to being looked into b/c I can't imagine it NOT being chaotic. How do you watch that many children learning to walk? I also wonder how the kids are doing ...how many are delayed (if any), etc. |
Likely scenarios:
A) The show is a huge success for the train-wreck factor. B) The show fails after the first season because the human race can only take so much. C) The show is basically successful but after 2 seasons, Octomom is under so much stress from the kids, the show and the paparazzi that she attempts suicide on camera and the show then follows her through psych rehab. D) CPS sees one episode and storms her house with an army of foster parents and sues her to dismiss her parental rights. In reality (real reality, not reality tv reality), she almost has no choice. There's no other way she's going to be able to make enough money to support 14 children as a single, unemployed mother who hasn't even finished her education. No, won't watch even for curiosity sake. So against it I might go to the extreme of finding out the advertisers who buy time for the show and boycott them. Not kidding. |
Quote: But as it turns out, it's unlikely the Suleman brood will be bringing their brand of family entertainment to Stateside TV sets anytime soon. The show will be produced out of England by Eyeworks, the third largest independent television producer in the world. Formed in 2001 and based in the Netherlands, it has affiliates in 14 countries, and its offerings are broadcast to the citizens of 50. Its American arm, 3Ball Productions, makes reality shows that range from respectable (The Biggest Loser and Beauty and the Geek) to cringe-inducing (Breaking Bonaduce and Scott Baio Is 45 ... and Single). It produced I Know My Kid's a Star, so it can handle high-maintenance mothers, and it's now casting for Camp Cougar, a show about older women chasing younger men, so clearly it's not afraid of controversy. But the American production house says it has nothing to do with the Suleman deal. (Read a brief history of multiple births.) http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0 ... 69,00.html[/quote] |
I've posted about how I feel about Jon and Kate... You can only IMAGINE my thoughts on this one!!!! |
She drove me nuts on Dr Phil. Much less a tv show. |

I AGREE! |
Won't be watching, and have stopped with Jon and Kate too. If I want the amusement of seeing cute little kids, I'll look at pictures of Skyler and Alayna from now on! |
I never have watched reality shows. Don't watch much TV of any kind. But might I add that if you are really into boycotting this show (or ones like it) & it's advertisers, a good thing to do is to write to the advertisers & let them know your feelings. There are so many millions watching that just boycotting the show & the products won't trickle down to them fast enough. |
Reality is the life those 8 children are looking at. |
Camp Cougar? ha ha ha. That would be a funny show to watch... |
