Valentine's Day *tons of flavored goody kisses to your OES'*
The last 2 years, I started to send my 2 furbabies a Valentine's Day card with doggie yogurt chocolate delivered to them by the UPS guy, but this year I have a new dog ...and forgot completely to introduce her to the tradition! Guess I've been so busy. I started it because I was dating Mr. Joahaeyo at the time, and we lived in different cities, so I had to send him a Valentine's Day Card. Well...I couldn't help but notice "Valentine's Day for Dog's" section at the small antique store in my town, so... I went crazy on the card/candy buying. 
We will make sugar cookies with a special new Icing recipe I got from grandma, so we'll see how they turn out. I may have to make them tomorrow though because I barely have a cup of powdered confectionary sugar. Happy Valentine's Day to you all!!! |

| My SIL had a baby BOY a little after midnight which makes him a VALENTINE'S BABY!!!! He will be one romeo when he grows up! AWesomeness!! |

| They asked me to make him a homepage. I said "oh, so you took tons of digital pics?"
They said, no... Do you want an imaginary page then? hehehe Well, the baby will have to stay at the hospital for observation the next 2 wks. it's not even the same hospital as mommy is staying at. Apparently the nurse didn't try getting out all the crap from his nose/mouth and he swallowed too much of it (started screaming before they even THOUGHT to do it). I'm sure he'll be fine, but they have to watch for any infection. Her husband is also in the military and works at the hospital, so I'm sure he's getting great care ...even though (the joke of the military is) "it's a military hospital." |

Baby's name is Benjamin, and he's 8lbs 2oz.
She was due the 4th, so this was quite a blessing for them. They were hoping to wait until his uncle Joah came home from Iraq ...but I can't imagine anyone wanting a baby in them longer than necessary (from what I'm told by all my girl friends). hahahahha Thankfully he wasn't born named Elvis. You'd have to know his fun-loving daddy. He had his overcoat removed by all his groomsmen (like Elvis would) at his wedding right before he kissed his beautiful bride. What a moment. lol We are still surprised by the wonderful name because they like to stick to disney characters (last kiddo and pets). |

I tried to be nonchalant about it because I am marrying her brother and me saying "all the Ben's I've known are hot" might have came off fishy. lol I can't to go see them when they all get home. Hopefully we can find some good rates online for a hotel. We did get a coupon in the mail yesterday for a pet-friendly place that's now offering: stay 2 nights, get the third night free. |

I didn't even think about getting Jasper a treat today! I got the boys some goodies, and he accidently grabbed a piece of chocolate from their goodies! Yikes. I guess that was enough of a treat for the day. |
