Obedience and Rally at Sheepiepalooza
There were five dogs entered in Novice Obedience. Novice B results: 1st place - Chewie & Dawn Novice A results: 1st place - Pearl & Val 2nd place - Sadie & Jan 3rd place - Harry & Judi 4th place - Marley & Kerry Below is a picture from their 3 minute long down. 
Three dogs were entered in Pre-Novice Obedience. Pre-Novice results:1st place - Tonks & Allison 2nd place - Heart & Val 3rd place - Luna & Allison Below is a picture of Luna & Allison doing a recall: 
Kristine took Belle into the ring instead of Sybil and it was so much fun to watch a seasoned obedience dog. Belle's gait was beautiful when heeling and she was so attentive to Kristine - it really was an inspiration. In Rally, Chewie and Harry were the only two dogs in Excellent B and Advanced B. Excellent B results: 1st place - Chewie & Dawn 2nd place - Harry & Judi Advanced B results: 1st place - Harry & Judi 2nd place - Chewie & Dawn Below is a picture of Chewie & Dawn finishing the Excellent course: 
Two dogs were entered in Advanced A - Heart and Pearl. Advanced A results: 1st place - Heart & Val 2nd place - Pearl & Val Two dogs were entered in Novice B - Sybil and Sadie. Novice B results: 1st place - Sadie & Jan 2nd place - Sybil & Kristine There were three Novice A entries including two first timers in the ring. They did really well. Novice A results: 1st place - Marley & Kerry 2nd place - Molly & Kyle 3rd place - Beaureguard & Tammy Below is a picture of Beaureguard & Tammy in the ring: 
Each dog received a placement ribbon, a certificate of participation and a ribbon shaped dog cookie. The first place finishers in Obedience received a miniature dumbell and the first place finishers in Rally received a miniature cone. Afterwards we opened up a Sub-Novice ring for dogs to try Rally. Due to the heat most of the attendees had moved on but those who tried it seemed to enjoy it. A big cheer to the all the dogs who participated in our fun match on Saturday afternoon - they did a great job!!!!  |
