weeks - she became very playful, then all of a sudden this weekend - she turned 9 weeks and all she wants to do again is sleep... Should I be worried? |

If you're concerned - go to the vet. |
Ditto if concerened at all straight off to the vets for a check.
Is she eating OK still, poppies nice and firm, not lethargic, drinking well? If any of these then straight to the vet. |
at the very least; I'd call your vet. It can't hurt to get a professional opinion. |
Unless there is something amiss as Lisa mentioned above, she could be relaxing in her new pack. First week or two she's learning her new home, pack mates, etc. Now that she's figure things out a bit, she can relax and catch up on her beauty sleep.
Yes, there's concern she's down with something. This is why young pups need to isolated until all the vaccinations are finished. |
If you are living in warm area maybe she is just hot (summer temperatures can make dog sleepy). Our Darwin is the same, but he compensates all that and more early morning and in the evening. When you put her outside, is she looking for shadow?
Like others said if you are concerned, vet visit won’t hurt. |
the weather has been rather warm here - humid - she seems to now be back to her normal playful self - and then some.... She is eating and drinking just fine, going potty just fine, so I am feeling better now... Thank you for all your replies! |
