"The 20 adorable pups are the babies of 16-month-old pit bull, Dixie, and 13-month-old king corso, Max, who belong to the couple. “I’ve got two boys and the dogs are just perfect with them. They do real well, so we figured what we would do is have puppies off of them because they’re beautiful,” he says." http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/30851510/ |

I watched this on the news with my husband and then said... I wonder how many more times they'll breed that dog now in hopes she'll have big litters. I hate so many dog owners. We have this one person who has "SHIH TZU puppies" ALWAYS on sale and they put signs ALL over Houston (mind you houston is HUGE) ...and it bugs mr. j and I so much that we literally take them down and I put "I'm a puppymill and you shouldn't buy from me ...from real dog lovers" ......then put them back up. We always have cars glad we did when we stop in the middle of the street to replace what we took. It's worth getting in trouble possibly one day. |
Jo--ha ha ha, that's so funny you do that. |
I just hate how many signs they put up every month. As a matter of fact, I have one in the back of my minivan right now that I haven't changed yet. |

ROCK ON Mrs. J!!! |
Considering how heavily pet overpopulation is pushed, and we're dealing with two dogs of two different breeds, could the writer not possibly see how un-pc it is to use a dumb quote like that? I guess it spurs discussion though. It never ceases to amaze me how misinformed and ignorant people can be. One of the people in the comments area said something like "no one should ever get a dog from a breeder. You should only get a dog from a shelter and then spay and neuter." I don't want to be the one to burst their bubbles but, in their ideal world, following that line of thinking, we'd run out of dogs.
People really need to understand the difference between responsible, ethical breeding and breeding for money or recreation. |
Mrs J - you ROCK! We've got one here that does the same thing with Golden Retrievers. I've often thought of just taking down all the signs I see, but your idea is MUCH better!! |
Get a bit stamp with "Puppy Mill Dogs"
That way you won't have to risk splinters taking down the signs. Love your concern! |
Way to go Mr and Mrs J |
Haha Mrs J! |

Don't you love the logic? I think some people have come to believe that dogs as a species should behave like cabbage patch dolls -- magically appear from nowhere when you want one, ready for adoption Kristine |

Well that would be a LOT easier for me and mr. j. Sometimes I say "no we don't have time," but he ignores me and stops to grab it. They put them up almost quite regularly in the same places. |
